Effective date: December 29, 2025
Introduction
These Terms of Service ('Terms') govern your access to and use of the services provided by Cyber Code Academy ('we', 'us', 'our'), operated by Marco Mornati. By using our website and services you agree to these Terms; if you do not agree, do not use the services.
Data Controller Statement
For data protection purposes, the Data Controller is: Marco Mornati (email: marco@pygame.ovh). We do not currently maintain a physical business address. Personal data collected through the service is processed by the Controller and its service providers in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Services and Eligibility
We provide an online platform offering interactive Python challenges, learning paths and related services ('the Services'). You must be at least the age required by applicable law to form a binding contract, or have parental consent where required. You are responsible for ensuring you meet eligibility requirements.
Accounts and User Responsibilities
If you create an account you must provide accurate information and keep credentials secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. Do not share access or infringe the terms of third-party services used for authentication.
User Conduct
You must not use the Services for unlawful activities, to impersonate others, to publish abusive content, to attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, or to interfere with the Service. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations or suspected abuse.
Intellectual Property
All content on the platform—text, code samples, images, UI, trademarks and documentation—is protected by intellectual property law and is owned or licensed by us. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to access and use the Services for personal learning and non-commercial use, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Third-Party Content and Links
We may provide links, integrations, or content from third parties. Those links are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement. Third-party terms and privacy policies apply to those services.
Limitation of Liability
To the full extent permitted by applicable law, we (and our officers, partners, employees and affiliates) will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, loss of profits or data arising from your use of the Services. Our aggregate liability for direct damages is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months (if any), or a reasonable minimum provided by law.
Disclaimer
Services are provided 'as is' and 'as available'. We make commercially reasonable efforts to maintain availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free service.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Services for breach of these Terms or for legal, security, or operational reasons. On termination, provisions that by their nature should survive will remain in force (e.g., liability limitations, ownership clauses).
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws that apply where the Controller is located, unless otherwise required by mandatory law. If you are in the EU/EEA, mandatory consumer protections remain applicable.
Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. If the changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice (e.g., by posting a prominent notice or emailing account holders). Continued use after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes acceptance.
